We regret to inform you that Friends’ Board Member Tim Lawson-Cruttenden died on Wednesday 17th April 2019 in Gibraltar where he was visiting with his wife Lorna.
Lorna has asked that we pass the news of his death to you which we sadly do.
Tim had been a Member since 1991 and served as Treasurer and Events
Director. He seemed to have recruited his whole family to be members. Their loyalty has been much appreciated.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Lorna, Venetia and Imogen, to his
father Roy and all his family.
We will miss Tim as an energetic and effective colleague and even more for
his personality and friendship. We are better for having known him.

Service of Thanksgiving
“A wonderful, very moving Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Tim was held at Holy Trinity Brompton on Thursday 23rd May. It was attended by hundreds of Tim’s family, friends and associates from throughout his life, including a group from the Friends of Gibraltar.
The tributes given each captured Tim’s personality completely – they all knew him so well. They highlighted his enthusiasm for life, his hard work, his devotion to his family, his ability to support those who were needy through charity work and individually and his very strong Christian faith.
The service was a true celebration of Tim’s life, he would have approved and enjoyed it. Each member of the congregation was asked to write a few words recording their memories of Tim.
